"Beth is so very warm and inviting and makes it so easy to open up and talk about your thoughts and feelings. Before you know it, she has produced a piece of art right before your eyes! Her talent is unique and the whole concept is original and memorable."

Tanushree Sehmbi, Sky UK

Poetry Party

Your family, friends or team members will come together for a video meet-up. Beth gently hosts a conversation to draw out your thoughts and memories. She speed-crafts your ideas into a beautiful poem, live in the moment, on her vintage typewriter.

Beth's Poetry Party sessions draw guests together as they unearth their shared experiences. Beth reads the poem to you at the end of the session and sends you a copy by email. You will also have the option to receive the original typewritten poem by post.

This is a fun, meaningful way to reflect on your collective journey as a group or couple. It is also suitable as a one-to-one experience.

(£52 for up to 5 people - if you have a larger group please email Beth for a quote.)

"I chose to take part in the poetry party to have an artefact and record capturing our time together as a family in lockdown. It was very precious and a totally new experience for us all to have together."

Catherine Thomas, Art Acumen

Commission a Poem

If you would prefer to commission a poem via a phone-call or email, Beth will craft a beautiful poem based on your memories, which she will gently help you to draw out. This is the perfect way to capture your feelings about a person, group or cause. She will shape the poem with you collaboratively until you are 100% happy with the final version, which will be type-set on A4 parchment and posted to you, either framed or unframed. You can also request an audio recording of the poem or work with Beth to produce a video.

(£100 & P&P)

"I can't fault the experience. The questions at the start to plan the poem were really helpful prompts. It was very special for me looking back through memories and happy moments I have shared with my longest friend and for those to then come alive on paper really touched my heart."

Writing Workshops

If you would like to have a more hands-on creative experience, you may wish to book a group workshop. Beth is an experienced creative coach, focusing on how poetry can help us to express ideas and think creatively. She enjoys adapting her hosting skills to the online environment, e.g. using the chat to build up a collaborative poem from everyone's ideas.

Book Beth to run an online session for your school, university, company or community group. Let her know what themes you would like to explore and she will design a session for you. One-to-one sessions are also available. All welcome - no writing skills or experience needed!

"Thanks so much Beth, that was really an inspiring session. I'm scared of writing, but you make it so easy, I loved all the activities which helped us build up to something really magical."
