Anniversary gift: "Golden"
The daughter of a couple celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary asked Beth to write a poem that she could perform in front of all their guests and present to them as a gift.
She noted down some memories of growing up in their family home, and what her mother and father enjoy doing together fifty years into their love story.
"I'm not an emotional person. But your poems have ability to make me cry every single time!"
18th Birthday gift:
This poem was commissioned by the friend of a young man called George who has inspired many people in his local community with his energy and passion.
She asked for a poem that would capture the essence of what George means to so many. The poem was the cause of wide smiles and happy tears when it was revealed at his birthday party.
"Poem was so perfect for George."
Wedding gift: "Equals"
This was commissioned by the sister of a groom who proposed to his new wife in his living room, accompanied by her choir.
His sister used this poem to tell the story of the couple who were brought together through their mutual love of music.
"Read it at the wedding - it went down a storm! Thank you so much."
