There is no better way to create a shared sense of purpose than to craft a collaborative poem together. Fun, challenging and rewarding, this is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser. You can opt for a framed copy of the poem to display in the office for all to read. Or maybe you would prefer to turn your poem into a video to use on your team "About" page?
Beth designs writing workshops that are thoughtfully tailored for each group. You may wish to book a session for a programme of events you are curating,or for a school or university session. Beth's focus areas are creative thinking, collaboration and wellbeing. Her sessions are playful, inclusive and confidence-building for seasoned writers and beginners alike.
1-TO-1 WRITING SESSION
The big day is fast approaching and you haven't been able to find the words you want to say. Often, when we want to express something completely unique it ends up coming out in cliches. If this feels familiar, get in touch and Beth will help you prepare a reading that you will feel proud to have crafted. Then you can stop worrying about the speech and look forward to the day!

Teenage Cancer Trust Workshops
Beth works with the Teenage Cancer Trust to host poetry workshops at the Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre. With her support, young people of varying abilities gain the skills and confidence required to put pen to paper. At Christmas Beth leads groups helping the young people to craft special Christmas present poems for their loved ones.
Beth recently hosted a workshop for the Teenage Cancer Trust around memory, cosiness and poetry. She helped the young people and their families to turn their memories into poems within a safe and supportive environment. As someone who has written from a young age, Beth enjoys bringing magic to other young people and helping them to stretch their imaginations.
Arnos Vale Cemetery: Life, Death & The Rest
The Poetry Machine helps people to put truths into words that they may otherwise struggle to express. As part of Arnos Vale Cemetery's Life, Death & The Rest festival, Beth hosted workshops that helped participants to commemorate loved ones in their own words.
Participants said that Beth helped them to share truths they hadn't been able to say out loud before, and resurface memories of loved ones in a healing and positive collaboration.
“Beth has a natural calming way of teaching, that helps everyone feel relaxed and inspired. She is supportive of everything we do here at Arnos Vale and I look forward to her coming back for more!” Adela, Arnos Vale (Events Co-ordinator)
